Connor & Logan.
These are the kids that make a cold winters day so warm. I love these kids and I know Lynzee does too. The things they say, the way they say them, and how much laughter occurs when they’re around, make every moment spent with them priceless. It’s funny because I found myself talking to Lynzee on the way up to SAU about how badly I wanted to see them.
Today it was freezing and I didn’t want to go outside so Lynzee posed the idea of shooting inside my apartment. I think it worked.

YES!
Saturday we went out in the Land Rover to explore around. What we did was pretty much a combo of muddin’ and off-roading!! I had a lot of fun!!! Sunday I was really tired and I slept 3 times that day. Later we went out to town, bought phones and got some snacks, but the day ended with some good Italian food and all the SM’s hanging out at our house!
We made it to Kenya!!!!! After getting back from dinner tonight at some staff’s house we found this waiting for us at our SM house! :)
Today I have so much to do!! I’m doing some final shopping, unpacking/packing, writing thank-yous, doing laundry, skyping, seeing my sisters make it to FL, and spending time with my family! Here’s what my day will be looking like tomorrow (Wednesday). Leave the house around noon for Ft. Meyers where my flight leaves for Miami. It’s from 1:30-2:30pm. Then, I have a layover till my flight leaves from Miami to Amsterdam. 9:30pm Wed night-12:20pm Thursday afternoon! I get to chill in Amsterdam for awhile/meet up with the other SM’s who I’ll be with all year/EAT AMAZING food and take AMAZING pictures. Then, I leave at 9pm on Thursday and fly to Nairobi, Kenya and land around 6:35am—-the exact time of SUNRISE! I’m very excited as you can tell. Please pray for my group’s safety and for my family! This is going to be a great year lived for God. I’ll be sure to post that I’ve arrived safely :)
